About Us

About Us

The Woodmont church of Christ is a non-denominational, non-institutional congregation of believers who have been baptized into Christ for the remission of sins, and who are committed to living by faith in Christ. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God. Our authority is Christ. Our name is Christian. Our creed is the Bible. Our theme is the gospel. Our hope is heaven.
The Bible tells us there are necessary components to one's addition into His church, those being; hearing the gospel, believing, repenting of sin, confessing that Jesus is the Son of God, being baptized in water for the forgiveness of sins and going on to live a life pleasing to God.
We cordially invite you to visit us at any of our services. Each Sunday we assemble for periods of worship at 10:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Central Time. During our worship services we sing songs of praise to God, observe the Lord's Supper, make a freewill contribution to support the work of the church, approach the throne of God in prayer, and hear a sermon preached from God's Word.

We meet for Bible class each Sunday morning at 9:30 and each Wednesday evening at 7:30. We believe Bible classes are an important part of the work of the church. The Bible class is one way that helps the church to fulfill the mission of "equipping of the saints, for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ" (Ephesians 4:12, NASV). There are classes for all ages, from the youngest to adult classes. In all the classes the Bible is taught, no time is spent on politics, crafts, entertainment, etc. Woodmont church has a good number of dedicated teachers who spend much time preparing for their classes.

If you want to return to the simple, uncomplicated religion of Christ, then know that such a possibility exists. Please accept our invitation to enjoy pure, undenominational Bible teaching!
